The Sabbath

So, let me just say that it has been maybe.....oh.....a million years since I took a sabbath. Who knows what a Sabbath is? Raise your hands high.....Anyone? Well, I am reading Tim Kellers book 'The Kings Cross' and chapter 4 is all about a Sabbath. Growing up the Sabbath was a day that I had to do homework. Jesus says it's a day of rest. Homework is NOT rest. Sundays anymore are a day to work while the hubs is home and I don't have to be the go-to person RIGHT when the kids get up from nap. It's a work day for me. At least that is what it has become. Well, not anymore! This gal is TAKING a Sabbath! :) That's just what I did on Sunday. I didn't work, even though I had a shoot to edit. I just sat, laid down with my daughter during nap time, played a memory game with her, drank hot chocolate and just....sat. I was tempted SOO many times to work while the hubs watched Sunday football, but...alas...I did not! Thank you, Thank you very much :) So, back to editing today :) Here is a little bit of what I did :)
