We had a GREAT time downtown this evening. Steamboat is great, they open all of their stores and the owners hand out candy to all the kiddies. It's great! No one coming to your door asking for candy anymore...all downtown. :) We like! The kids had a good time too. These are pics from MY camera...I will have more from Josh's tomorrow. They got tired really quickly and wanted to sit in the stroller. Edyn got cold seeing as though it was like....30 degrees out. Beautiful evening though.

It snowed!!! ARGH! it has started and it is not going to end now. We are def into winter. Not my favorite season at all. SOOO much snow. We had over 400 inches last year...that's a lot. This is video from our back door. SOOOO cold. :( today it is like 20 something degrees and seriously windy.

This video is of Jason watching his bride walking down the aisle. Priceless! Don't mind the confusion up front..i had to get Kayla to stand on the seat behind me. :) hahahaha. Jason and Jacky might be the only ones who will appreciate this, but....it was sweet.

Here are some shots I just took of the kids. I am also going to upload a video of the snow. YES....SNOW!!!! It is almost Halloween and there is SNOW on the ground. Lots of it. ....well, maybe a quarter of an inch, but still. wowzers (as Kayla would say) :) Also, Kayla put Bobo in Edyn's car seat...she was soo proud that she got the buckles. :)

Today was Kayla's first day of dance. I have a video, just can't figure out how to put it on here yet. hmmm. anyway, Kayla had a great time running, dancing and listening. I am hoping this class will help her take instruction from someone other than me. It was real fun to get her into something besides playing with playdough. ;)

taking you back to the beginning

So, the blog put the pictures backwards. The black shirt pic is of me before I went into the hospital. Obviously the one in the gown is getting ready and my good friend Tracy decorated my room in chinese theme so that Edyn wouldn't feel left out because SHE wasn't born in China :) SOOO nice. The other two pics are of Edyn at 5 wks old. She is 8.1 pounds now and is 20.5 inches long. She is very alert when she is awake, but sleeps still most of the day. LOVE this stage. :)

WEDDING!!!

Well, it has been 3 weeks today since my MAJOR surgery and a lot has happened. Edyn of course was born :). I went to the outlets 4 days after Edyn was born....got some great deals. :) Had my mom here for 2 weeks....major plus!! AND we just got back from venturing out east to the wedding of the year. Jason and Jacky FINALLY got hitched and it was the funnest (nice word) wedding we have ever gone to. Not only was there FULL wedding participation in the dancing around the dance floor, but I even tried to bust a jig....but the belly was in a little pain. I had to take it a little easy, which is NEVER fun at a wedding. Oh well. I was GREAT to watch J&J have a GREAT time at their wedding. Terrific food, great music selection and awesome friends and family all in one room. Jasons DREAM come true. I think at one point I saw Jacky look at the time and then look at Jason....he was having a TON of fun. Good times.

Also that weekend, we saw MY family. Finally! It was great to see all the nieces and nephews (minus my brothers kids) in one room. Good time had by all~
