Breckinridge

Hola from the COLD!! we took a trip yesterday to Dillon, Frisco and Breckinridge...all in the same area. It was soo pretty, freezing, but pretty. We packed the kids up at 10:50 and got there around 12:15. Immediately went to a BK where the kids filled their bellies with pbj's and josh and i had fast food. We haven't had fast food in a LONG time. It was nice to taste the sweet nectars of salty fries. Then we drove around the town, went to the outlets and the biggest adventure of all...a TARGET! this is the closest target to us, so it is a treat to go and walk the aisles for me. The kids did soo great in the car. We headed back around 5 and had great weather the whole way. Kayla conked out around 5:30 for a small snooze while G barely slept, but instead of him getting overly tired, he gets delirious. It is really funny. ....just laughs. :) we have good kids!

here are some pics of the kids. Guinness LOVES the vacuum. Isn't that funny? Kayla was soo afraid of it and Guinness hangs around it if I take it out of the closet. I got some video of him standing near it, but then he saw the camera...which he also loves. They also love the mirror. I put my mirror on the floor for them and they just go nuts.

13 week appointment

Ok, so here we are. 13 weeks and feeling good. I had my first appointment today and these were the pictures that resulted from my 2 hour meeting with the doctor. Can you believe it??? 2 hours??? Anyway, hope you can see these clearly. In one of the pictures, the baby is smiling!!!

Here are some recent pics of the kiddos. Guinness is standing and doing a little cruising and Kayla is well......she won't let me do her hair half the time, so....messy hair is what you get.

SHOWER TIME!!

I had the pleasure of throwing a VERY intimate baby shower today for two of my friends. Caroline is DYING to have this baby NOW, but he/she is taking a bit longer than expected. Katie still has a couple of weeks to go, but she is anxious because it is her first boy. I am really excited to see both babies...especially Carolines because she doesn't know what she is having yet. VERY EXCITING!!! Anyway, here are some pictures of our lunch together. I made those diaper cakes!! I had one made for me for my last shower and this one was my attempt. I had fun making them. I should have used a hot glue gun because the ribbon kept falling off, but after several layers of double sided tape...I think it stayed long enough.

Caroline is the Korean and Katie is the girl in the black turtle neck. Both radiantly glowing!

Ok Ok

I know it has been forever and a day that is NEVER since I wrote last on this baby, but I have excuses..TONS of them. Prego, 2 kids, job, cabin fever (sweating and all), husband, tv, sleep....the list goes on and on. So, here are some updates:

I have my first maternity app. on the 18th of March...WAHOO. I will be 13 weeks at that point.

Josh still doesn't know about his job, but continues to go (like George Costanza).

It is still freezing (20 degrees) and snowing here when everywhere else in the WORLD is warm.

My waistband is no longer my own....it belongs to someone else for another 6 months.

My kids are crazy sometimes. Guinness is faster than lighting and Kayla is more dramatic than many queens I have seen in my lifetime.

And last but not least...I feel like I live in a western (see video below). also,,, pics of the kiddos. :)
