Today, this beautiful woman saw the "Face of Glory". She has left us to join her Heavenly Father in a joyous dance, an exploding laugh and songs of peace. She lived such a life of awe that one would could only dream of living. Lois Lindley loved people and cared for the lost. She had such a servants heart. I sit here at the computer in shock. Shock that she is gone and I will never see her again in this lifetime. I also sit here in shear jealousy. Jealous that she has a new body. Jealous that she is dancing with the King. It is the most beautiful thing to sit and think of her at the feet of Jesus, worshiping Him. Her life is one to mimic. I only pray that people will see Christ through her life and death. We miss you Grandma Lindley, but are rejoicing that you are now free.

Pray this week
So, my awesome (devastatingly handsome) husband is in CA for a job fair this week. Today is the actual job fair which he is hoping to see this company he would LOVE to work for and try and get a formal interview. Please pray for courage and outgoingness (sp?) for him. Also that he would not get discouraged through this process. When he got there he said it was weird to not have traveled with kids. He also said it is soo nice to wake up and NOT have to get Kayla. BUT he did say he misses us terribly and wishes we were there. I say "Enjoy the time away, you've got double diaper duty when you get back" :) hahahaha.
please pray for him and for my sanity this week with two kids the WHOLE day. It's hard.

The kids today!
Today is soo sunny that Kayla HAD to wear her sun shades. He doesn't love them, but she has to wear them if we go outside. There is also a pic of Guinness and of ME! I just thought I would take a pic of the curly hair today. not a bad curly day :) I also had kayla eat a whole lot of watermelon. She LOVES watermelon. She ate the whole thing.
random shots of the weekend
Well, as you know I have posted about Kayla's birthday a lot. I have a few more pics of kayla a day after her birthday. I received my sisters gift in the mail and card. She had more fun opening the card, but ya know. She is liking having an opinion lately on what she wears. I like that she is having an opinion about what she wears too. I thought it would bother me, but she is picking out stuff that kind of matches. She must get that fashion sense from me. The mullet....she gets from Josh. :) hahaha. What to do about the mullet? I don't think she will sit still enough for me to cut it, soo..what to do? suggestions? The pic of me is from a baby shower I went to. It was outside and soo creative. They had fruit that were on these sticks and looked like bugs. They made butterflies out of lightbulb. I wish I had taken a picture of them, but I remember how they made them. They took all different shaped light bulbs and formed wire around them to create antenna and the wings. In between the wings they put tissue paper that they painted with spots on them to look like butterflies. They put some jewels on them and walahh! Soo cool. Anyway, it was a fun shower..I didn't really know the people prego, but I knew a couple other people and met some really great women.

Happy Birthday to Kayla Reese
Today my first born is 2 years old. She is rediculously cute and big and just a joy for us to know. I will dedicate my next post to pictures from her special day but now I have pictures from the weekend. First we went to a fourth of July parade in town (the kids loved the horses and fire trucks). Then we did tubing down the Yampa River, but for obvious reasons (water) we don't have pictures from that...let's just say it was FREEZING and I almost died. Then we went hiking and took some pictures by a water fall. After that, we went fishing and I caught 3 fish in 10 minutes and Josh caught the mother of ALL fish...it was huge. I attached some pictures of our car ride home from the fireworks on the 4th, our rent a dog for the weekend (this beautiful golden lab has been hanging around with no collar. So we have been taking car of it, throwing a stick, telling him to sit and stay) (good dog, but now we can't find him). Then finally, we saw......a cattle drive. They blocked off 5 blocks of the main street (i mean main and only street) to let a hundred or so cows run (well....saunter) through town. It was soo interesting and something I would definetly expect to see in CO. It smelled, but Kayla LOVED it...she kept saying MOO MOO
